Supports flood-affected families

At Generous Hearts Foundation (GHF), supporting communities during times of crisis is our foremost priority. In response to the severe floods that displaced families in Pandiruppu, we swiftly acted on a request from the Kalmunai North Divisional Secretary to provide emergency assistance.

On November 30, 2024, we distributed dry rations to 116 families displaced by the floods. The distribution was held at Pandiruppu Mahavidyalayam, backed by a funding allocation of ₹200,000 to ensure effective relief.

Floods disrupt lives, often leaving families without access to food, shelter, and basic necessities. Our relief efforts focused on:

  ✅ Immediate food supplies to reduce hunger and hardship.

  ✅ Emergency support to aid recovery after disaster.
