The Thavarasa family, displaced by a devastating tsunami, faced unimaginable challenges in rebuilding their lives. With three children to educate and a lack of financial stability, they were in desperate need of support. Thanks to the intervention of the Generous Hearts Foundation (GHF), this family was given the opportunity to regain control of their future through self-employment. This is their story of resilience, empowerment, and transformation.

Generous Hearts Foundation (GHF) is committed to bridging this gap, ensuring that deserving students receive the support they need. One such inspiring story is that of Uthayakumar Salini, a dedicated university student from Pandiruppu who, despite losing her parents, is determined to achieve academic success. With limited financial resources, she and her sister struggled to meet the rising costs of higher education. GHF stepped in to provide crucial assistance, enabling her to continue her studies without financial distress.

At Generous Hearts Foundation (GHF), we believe in the power of sports to inspire, unite, and transform lives. In line with our commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and fostering youth development, we recently took an initiative to support a school girls cricket team by providing them with high-quality sports t-shirts valued at Rs. 17,600.

Generous Hearts Foundation (GHF) continues its mission to enhance education in underserved communities. In response to a request from Kamu/Sathu/Valathappity A.D.K. School, located in Valathappity village, Sammanthurai zone, Amparai, GHF provided vital educational assistance. This initiative aimed to supply essential study materials to help students overcome learning setbacks and improve academic performance.
