Scholarship Program for Underprivileged Students

At Generous Hearts Foundation (GHF), we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to pursue higher education, regardless of their financial background. Our scholarship scheme is designed to support students pursuing university degrees and G.C.E. higher education from families living below the poverty line. This initiative ensures that financial constraints do not hinder their academic aspirations.

GHF provides financial aid to 15 students under this scheme. The scholarship includes:

• Initial Support: A one-time grant of Rs.5,000 to assist with admission and initial academic expenses.
• Monthly Assistance: Each student receives Rs.3,500 per month until they complete their studies.

To qualify for this scholarship, students must:  

• Be enrolled in a university or G.C.E. higher education program.
• Come from a family living below the poverty line.
• Demonstrate academic commitment and maintain satisfactory performance.

The financial assistance provided by GHF has significantly improved the lives of the beneficiaries in the following ways:
