GHF Independence Day Celebration

On February 4, 2025, Generous Heart’s Foundation (GHF) marked Sri Lanka’s 77th Independence Day with a meaningful event at our office on Resthouse Road, Kalmunai. The celebration went beyond national pride, focusing on supporting underprivileged students and promoting a spirit of unity, generosity, and social responsibility within the community.

Honouring Our Chief Guest and Special Guests

We were privileged to welcome Mr. S. Chanthirakumar, Social Service Officer from the Kalmunai North Divisional Secretariat, as our Chief Guest. His presence highlighted the value of social service in community development and inspired all attendees to contribute actively to initiatives that uplift society.

Supporting Education – A Step Towards a Brighter Future

As part of our commitment to education, GHF distributed exercise books to 20 underprivileged students. This initiative aimed to reduce educational barriers and encourage children to pursue their studies confidently, without financial burdens. By empowering students, GHF continues to invest in the future leaders of our community.

Active Participation of GHF Members

The event was further enriched by the active involvement of GHF members. Their dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm were key to the program’s success, reflecting the foundation’s collective commitment to serving those in need.

A Meaningful Independence Day Celebration

This Independence Day, GHF not only celebrated national freedom but also reinforced its mission of compassion and community service. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all guests, participants, and members whose contributions made this event impactful and memorable.
